Hey guys I am new here and I would love your knowledge on this particular cancer? I am a year out of preventive chemo 36 weeks .. my Medical Oncologist was unsure of chemo as its still not proven it kills this cancer. I also tested positive for DPYD variant so a low increase of chemo was given to me each week.

I had very mild symptom's of DPYD but after a month I didn't feel me I actually thought I was loosing my mind disconnected >>anyway if u have this mutation you will know what I am talking about because I am not the same person......

What you have described particularly the uncertainty around preventive chemotherapy and the lived experience of having a DPYD variant is something many in this community might relate to.
