Pelvic Resection Advice

Hi everyone, I'm new here, and has been a tough couple of weeks. My husband has been diagnosed with a pelvic tumour which we have got early, he has surgery soon for a pelvic resection , does anyone have any advice as to when he is home after hospital things they thought helped during recovery for a few months.
