Hi everyone, I'm new here, and has been a tough couple of weeks. My husband has been diagnosed with a pelvic tumour which we have got early, he has surgery soon for a pelvic resection , does anyone have any advice as to when he is home after hospital things they thought helped during recovery for a few months.

Afternoon @Freespirit,

How are yourself and your husband doing this week?

Here are some resources I recommend you take a look at:

Understanding surgery (pdf)

Complementary therapies

Caring for someone with cancer (pdf)

Managing cancer pain (podcast)

Sleep and cancer (podcast)

Appetite loss and nausea (podcast)

Cancer Council Victoria also have a lot of great information about living with cancer, some of it will be relevant to that post-surgery period.

Has anyone else got any tips for @Freespirit that have helped you or your family members post-surgery?
