Hi Everyone,

I am new to this community, hoping to get some advice on what to do to help my husband who has been diagnosed with Kidney Cancer since May this year. Lately, he has been in a lot of pain and unable to get comfortable for a good night sleep. It is very hard to watch and feel helpless.

He gets crossed with me for suggesting him to stop drinking, because he loves his beers. Especially while on treatment, as I feel that he is reversing the progress. He comes from a family who drinks at every chance they get. I know it's hard to stop, but how do you help when you know drinking is not going to help with their conditions. I am feeling frustrated dealing with a stubborn person who can't see the impact that drinking would have on his treatment. Worse thing is the doctor said that it is ok for him to have 2 standard drinks a night. 😞
