Hi @Katekat !! Thanks so much for that information. She's doing ok... Had a bit of a scare with her arm port clotting up but lucky she's super on top of every little thing, so we went to emergency right away. She's actually done pretty well and coping well with the chemo... Sometimes I need to tell her to stop trying to do so much... Chemo does knock her around for a few days after though. We're thinking of getting transferred to Peter Mac for surgery and radiotherapy after having chemo done at Epworth. Everyone at Epworth are soo nice but the costs are starting to mount up through the public system. Do you have any advice in regards to public v private?

Hi all.... Wondering if any breast cancer patients or survivors have been recommended or been treated with this drug for Chemo? We've been offered the option to be treated with this through our oncologist, but it costs $10,000 so just want to find out as much as possible about it. Thanks

Hi @tobzko,

How are you and your fiance doing?

Here's some information from NPS about Pertuzumab for breast cancer and there's a leaflet here about the infusion, including side effects as well on the NPS site about it that are worth reading. You should also check with your health fund too and see if they will help cover it, if you are in one.

Has anyone else had any experience with Perjeta (Pertuzumab)?

Here are some additional resources that I recommend taking a look at too:
