<title>topic Treatment in Diagnosis and treatment</title>
    <link>https://onlinecommunity.cancercouncil.com.au/t5/Diagnosis-and-treatment/Treatment/m-p/31751#M1216</link>
<description>&lt;P&gt;My Son 23 recently passed away from a rare sarcoma and my frustration is why was he offered non government funded treatment when it was to late! &amp;nbsp;Shouldn’t that option be put on the table straight up? We asked the question but it seems no one wants to answer the question , is this just us or is anyone else out there thinking the same or been in the same situation? &amp;nbsp; Is it just about the $$ until funded treatment is exhausted and then offer the pay yourself option ? I know my son is gone and nothing will change that but maybe I can make a change for someone else .&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
