Black dot + red circle on inner thigh? Something to look into?

Hi there, I'm a 22y/o female who's noticed a small black dot on the right, inner thigh. I'm worried it's something serious even though I've experienced no ill side effects other than the ugly spot.

It hasn't changed in months, whether it be in shape or size, but it's unlike anything I've seen on myself before. There's no soreness or tenderness if I poke it, and when I do, it kind of feels like something small is underneath the skin?

It's a pretty small spot, only a few millimetres across both ways.

Also I noticed a day ago that underneath it is a red whole circle. Not raised, not tender, it just looks and feels as if someone coloured it in with a red pencil. Probably around 2cm across.

Are these two related and if so, could somebody let me know if I should arrange an appointment? 😞

In my opinion it would be best to get it checked out by your GP or specialist, to put your mind at rest.
