I’m glad you spoke to the Cancer Council. They are always helpful. Amazing how if you’ve got Covid you get into hospital straight away and if you’ve got cancer you have to wait. It’s a world gone mad!! Hopefully it means that your cancer is very slow growing. 🙏💕 Linda

Just called the admissions people at Liverpool Hospital here in Sydney and they have informed me that there isn't any date for my admission and that ALL elective surgeries have been put on hold until further notice due to corona. I have completed my 3 month waiting time set by the specialist.

What now for me? Where do I go now or what do I do now? I'm so lost with all of this and I just feel so gutted 😞

Have you tried ringing the specialist? I didn’t think cancer treatment would be classified as elective. So sorry! That’s just devastating for you. 🙏💕 Linda G

I have Linda spoke to a staff member there two weeks ago who in turn asked me to call her back in two weeks, I called up today and I'm just waiting on her to call me back. Unfortunately Linda my surgery is classified as elective as I've checked on cancer council site it stated there the different levels 😕

Just an update, I was feeling so helpless that I contacted the cancer council to have a chat, anyways long story short just got off the phone with Sheryl from the specialist office as I was writing this and she said that the specialist has gotten back to her regarding my case and unfortunately there isn't anything he can do but he has been made aware of my situation and that their are others like me with the same diagnosis waiting to get surgury and are on hold like me. Not great news but I feel somewhat glad the specialist knows what's going on. It's just a waiting game now unfortunately 😒
