Hi everyone

A few months ago I was diagnosed with Bells Palsy and from the CT scan there a larger nodule was picked up.

My GP referred me for an ultra sound and a biopsy and from that it was determined I had Papillary Thyroid Cancer with Oncocytic change (a more aggressive variant). The specialist and surgeon wanted my whole thyroid out quickly so fast forward a few weeks and I had a full thyroidectomy with neck dissection. I found out today the pathology results have come back with no malignant to be found.

Whilst I am relieved there is no cancer found, I am finding myself very emotional and the fact I had the operation and was told i had cancer. The emotional roller-coaster has been incredible.

Has anyone else been in a similar situation and how did you handle the emotions and understanding how everyone thought it was cancer and wanted it out quickly to being told this.

Hi Maxie,

I’m really sorry to hear about the emotional roller-coaster you’ve been on. Unfortunately, I can relate to the intense emotions you’re experiencing, as a member of my family has been battling cancer. It’s incredibly tough to navigate these feelings, especially when you’ve been through such a stressful journey.

The sudden shift from being told you have cancer to hearing that there’s no malignancy can be overwhelming. It’s natural to feel a mix of relief and residual anxiety after such a significant event. You might find it helpful to talk to a counselor or therapist who can support you in processing these emotions and helping you adjust to this new reality.

Remember to give yourself grace and time to recover emotionally as well as physically. It’s okay to seek support from friends, family, or professionals as you navigate through this challenging time.

It is also extremely important to use only proven and reliable pharmacies to obtain the necessary medicines of the best quality, because the entire outcome of your treatment depends on it. My recommendation is a pharmacy - world-delivery-service.com Personally, I have been using it for a long time, worldwide delivery + always excellent quality.

Sending you strength and support during this time 🤗
