Hi @Rach90. I'm sorry to hear about your mums diagnosis and the impact it is having on you. This forum is a wonderful space and hopefully you will find care and support from others who share their experience. Many people also find it helpful to talk with a professional and you are welcome to call Cancer Council's 13 11 20 line if you need to debrief. They can also provide information about the range of services available to support you. Kind regards ... Joseph_CCNSW

While visiting mum in hospital on Tuesday, her CT scan showed stage 4 lung cancer. We don’t know the exact type yet or treatment but will in the next day or two following a bronchoscopy. I am a mess and don’t know how I will function with life again. Mum and I are very close. I’m trying to find a place of hope, positivity and a strong place to support Mum but it’s too scary, overwhelming and uncertain. I feel like I am already grieving and the pain unlike anything I have experienced before.
