Hi beautiful people, I’m about to start the 5th & hopefully final week of my chemo & radiation treatment for cervical cancer. I’ve 2 brachytherapy coming up in a couple weeks. This whole process has taken its toll on my body I don’t feel like myself anymore but I’m trying to stay positive & push through. Certainly a rollercoaster ride I wasn’t expecting in many ways. Worrying about having brachytherapy, I have read some peoples stories & heard some things here & there like terrible side effects, or other ongoing problems. Any reassurance is welcome 🙂🩷

Hi Raych, so sorry to hear about your diagnosis. Its a terrible shock. I was diagnosed with an 11cm tumour in my liver last October. I had SIRT procedure (radiation) in Nov, which reduced its size to 7cm. I recently had a TACE procedure (chemo) three weeks ago, and will see my doctor in a months time to see if theres any more reduction. Fingers crossed. Try not to worry too much, think of the things you still want to do in life and keep positive. I know its hard when your body feels like crap, but trust your medical team, they know what theyre doing. Take care, Greg ❤️
