It progressed to stage 4 around a month ago and yesterday we were told there was nothing more that could be done. We lost her this evening. While I totally understand we weren't the first to lose a loved one and we won't be the last, it's just so unfair. Cancer is an absolute bastard and I can't believe she's gone. She will be taken good care of by our angels, her birth mother and our Mother who passed away 3 years ago. Fly high my beautiful Sis, you can rest peacefully now.
