I know it may feel like your alone but you have your children, family and our community standing behind you every step of the way. (Getting chemo is definitely a good idea in my opinion but everyone is different in their wishes).

Your husband can't stand the thought of losing you and seeing is always an reminder of this risk. No matter how impossible it is. Has he spoken to any other family members regarding his feelings and to work through them or maybe a councilor? I believe he just needs time to process his feelings. Have you talk to him regarding this matter as well??

Hello Di1119,

Welcome to our community, I am so sorry to hear about your situation. It sounds completely surreal, especially in such a small amount of time. Have you considered contacted the cancer council to find the best local doctor, who specialises in your particular type of cancer? That's what my family did for our mother and she gave her access to more treatment options than our original doctor ever did.

Do you have a treatment plan already in place or have discussed this with friends or family, just yet??
