Study invite: Well-being of women affected by breast cancer

Afternoon all,

We've been contacted by the researchers at the South Australian Health & Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI), who are conducting research into finding the best ways to collect information on women’s health and well-being after receiving a diagnosis of breast cancer, and beyond diagnosis and treatment.

Who can participate?

In order to take part in this study, you must meet the following criteria:

Women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer,
The aforementioned diagnosis took place within the last 5 years,
Aged over 18 years.

How long will it take?

It is estimated that the survey will take approximately 30 minutes of your time, so settle in with a cuppa.

What will the survey involve?

You will be presented with questions about your diagnosis and treatment, along with questions about your physical and emotional well-being.

At the completion of the survey, you'll be asked if you would like to receive a summary of the results, and if you would like to participate in any follow up research. There is no obligation to participate in the follow up and your answers to the survey will be anonymous.

Participation is voluntary and you may withdraw at any stage you wish to.

The survey is completely online, though you may request a paper copy if you so wish.
