I have been diagnosed with brain cancer last year in August

I have had a double mastectomy which the cancer traveled from breast to my brain I spent ,1week at RPA at the light house only for them to tell me they couldn't operate because the tumours were to deep in my brain the only treatment they gave me was to have an MRi and blood test every 3months but I do suffer with a lot of headaches and my specialist tells me that it is a good thing when the brain is swelling because it stops my antibody getting into my tumours and attacking my brain but the hardest part is knowing I am going to die from this as it is my secondary cancer

I am sorry to hear about your cancer it breaks my heart. I was told by the doctor who found my brain cancer that if I was to have it removed I would be paralyzed on the left side of my body. 3 days after finding out I had it it was removed by the grace of God. I prayed and let it in God's hands he worked a miracle on me. Never lost faith I pray that God keeps his hands on you and helps you through all you are going through

Hi @Beautlady,

Thank you for sharing your experience here. It sounds like an incredibly difficult time for you, and frustrating to have a lack of treatment options for the tumours in your brain. It must be hard for you to share your difficult prognosis and I hope that it helps to know that this community cares.

In her reply to your post, it's clear that @PENNY21's strong faith has been very helpful for her. For many other community members, coping can be enhanced by turning to others for support, to chat with and feel connected to.

Please take care @Beautlady and let us know how things are going for you.

Dear Penny21

Thank you and yes my specialist said if he operated that I could also be paralysed on my right side then he said we won't operate we will just do MRIs and bloods every three months but I thank the Lord that I wake up each day. But I do thank you again

Robin
