Hi Anna2018,

Talk with your treatment team. They should have access to the results of your blood tests to know when your immune system is close to full strength. Don't jump in too early in case you come down with a gastro infection or worse.

If you don't have a phone number to get through to your treatment team - go back to the treatment centre and don't leave until you get one.

Slow and steady wins the race.

Rick

Hi Everybody

I am a bit nervous - this is my first post online (ever).

I was diagnosed with NHL-Follicular Lymphoma in March 2018 and went through treament finishing in July 2018. Still waiting to see if treatment worked (fingers crossed).

Basically, one of my main restrictions was not eating undercooked food during treatment, i.e. poached eggs, medium cooked steak etc., and restricting certain cheeses.

I was hoping for advice about how long after treatment can I ease up on these kind of food restrictions?

Thank you.
