The holiday season can be difficult for people who have experienced a major change or loss in their life. Although a traditional period of social celebration, feelings of loneliness, isolation and sadness may also be common at this time. Young people affected by cancer in particular experience challenges navigating this time of year. Hi All, We're sorry to need to announce that this event has been cancelled due to low numbers - it's obviously a very busy time of year! Do pop by the home page at www.cancerconnections.com.au for some tips and strategies for surviving the coming weeks - and don't forget, this site will be available throughout the holiday period if you're needing a bit of extra support. We will be planning some "YAC Chat" events early in 2011, so if you'd like to be part of these, watch this space! Feel free also to let us know what topics you would like to be addressed.
