Hi @Vahalla,

Firstly, congratulations on completing your radiation treatment, wishing you continued strength and a smooth road ahead in your recovery. You're absolutely right to be looking into ongoing dental care post-treatment, especially with a plan from RPA. It’s a vital part of recovery that often gets overlooked.

From what I’ve learned through my own experience supporting a family member in a similar situation, you can sometimes continue with RPA for dental follow-up, especially if they’ve already started your treatment plan. But availability can be limited, so many people do opt for a trusted private clinic that’s willing to work closely with RPA.

If you're open to private options a little outside the Inner West, I’d recommend checking out Indental Castle Hill. They’re experienced in working with post-cancer patients and are very respectful of tailored treatment plans from hospital-based teams. A friend of mine brought their RPA-recommended plan to them, and the transition was handled with professionalism and care. Their team took the time to communicate with the hospital specialists so everything stayed consistent, which brought a lot of peace of mind.

If you'd like to see how they might support you on this journey, you can learn more about their approach and services.

Wishing you all the best as you move forward take care and feel free to update us on how things go!

Hello @Vahalla,

It's good to see you again! I am glad your radiation treatment has finished and I hope your recovery is going smoothly.

I had a chat to our team in 13 11 20 and they recommend that you speak to the RPA dental clinic. If you can continue seeing them, wonderful but they did mention they can be hard to get into for appointments, but that it would definitely be worth seeing if you can. If you decide to go to a private dentist, the RPA dental clinic will need to talk with them, so everyone is on the same page for your care and wellbeing.

I hope that makes sense to you? Feel free to come back here with any questions

I hope we see more of you
