For many people affected by cancer, dogs (and other pets) can bring comfort, routine, and a sense of connection during tough times.

This June, the Dog Walk for Cancer is a chance to get moving with your pup - walking throughout the month to raise funds for cancer research, prevention, and support services for the almost 1 in 2 Australians impacted by cancer.

Whether it’s a walk around the block, a cuddle on the couch, or simply being there—pets can make a real difference.

And even if you're not out walking in June, but have a faithful companion... comment below and tell us about your pet... what’s their name? What's something funny or special they do?

I love my cavoodle. Wagging her tail and flopping on the ground for a belly scratch.
If I have a good day or bad day it doesn’t matter, she’s always happy to see me.

I love this, she sounds like a devoted and loving best friend. Belly scratches for dogs are the best aren't they, she sounds like a character the way she flops to the ground for one 🙂
