Our friends over at BEAT Bladder Cancer Australia are holding a Zoom Q&A forum on Tuesday, November 17th, 7.30-9pm AEDT with four leading health professional panellists who will focus on the various aspects of integrative health as they relate to bladder cancer.

More about the webinar:

This webinar has been tailored for anyone who wants to know more about living with bladder cancer and struggle to find the latest research.

‘Having four incredibly well-respected health professionals to answer questions on wide-ranging topics such as exercise, nutrition, the role of complementary medicine and the importance of overall wellbeing as they relate to bladder cancer is such an honour,’ said BEAT President, Adam Lynch. ‘We ask that nurses, carers and patients submit questions prior to the event to ensure that the panellists cover all the hot topics in this increasingly important field of integrative health.’

Integrative health takes into account the physical, psychological, social and spiritual wellbeing of a person with the aim of using the most appropriate, safe and evidence-based treatments available.

An integrative health approach to bladder cancer, for example, would combine the roles of orthodox and complementary healthcare practices to facilitate a person’s optimal bladder cancer recovery and on-going bladder health in a wholistic way.

Panellists:

A/Prof Judith Lacey – Head of Supportive Care & Integrative Medicine, Chris O’Brien Lifehouse
