topic Thyroid Cancer / possible to conceive afterwards? in Relationships, sexuality and fertility

Hi everyone, I am new to this site. I was just wondering if there is anyone who has had Thyroid Cancer and has successfully conceived after treatment? I also have an autoimmune condition which has led me to undergo fertility treatment to conceive my first child 3 years ago. Since being diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer I have been told it should still be possible to conceive another child down the track but with my past history I may find it very difficult. I know I need to wait 6 months after my Radioiodine treatment (next week) for a body scan to tell me if I have the all clear. I was just wondering if there is anyone out there who has successfully conceived after having Thyroid Cancer and undergone Radioiodine.
