My breast cancer has metastasised Bone cancer

So depressing to hear my Her2 breast cancer has metastasised After 6 initial rounds of chemo followed by 14 more by clinical trial and double mastectomy plus lymph node removal. It didn’t work. I’m so devastated as to why it didn’t work ? No radiation. Should I have had radiation ? All these questions.
biopsy tomorrow to see what treatment is required.
bone cancer is so so scary to contemplate.
can’t eat or sleep Can’t think straight

any ideas I’m in the dark.

Hi Belinda56, that’s awful news for you 😢. So, so sorry. I had a different cancer to you but understand the feelings of anxiety and sadness that goes with a diagnosis like that. Thanks for your kindness I have such loving family and that’s why it’s so difficult. I guess asking why why why might eventually stop.

How devastating after all the treatment. Ask your doctors what they think about radiation and whether that would have made any difference. How are you going now? Wishing you the best. x

Hi there thanks for the comment

I have just had 12 weekly rounds of chemo

and Herceptin and about 20 radiation treatments to the affected areas. My last petscan shows considerable

positive change. I’m pretty happy at this point. I start a clinical trial in a few weeks and we’ll take it from there.
im sure this will be ongoing but this latest treatment

has shrunk the tumours or eradicated them

let’s see what the future holds

feeling much better.
