New screening program for Cervical Cancer

Hi everyone,

 

You may be interested to know that there is a new screening program for cervical cancer which was introduced on 1 December 2017 which replaces the previous pap smear program for women.

 

A new Cancer Council website explains the changes to the screening process which is now a test for the HPV virus, which causes almost all cervical cancers.
