On the 14th and 15th of March this year Australians who have ACC are meeting as a group for the first time . It is to be in Brisbane . This is to be the first of what is hoped to become an annual event . Each year the get together will be in a different city . Anyone who has been diagnosed with this cancer is most welcome to attend .

I know it must be dufficult not knowing the cause of some of this . Trying to be strong for your grown kids would make it more so ,I would think . Maybe you can talk to some of then and that way support each other . Do they know what's going on with their dad ? Not all will react the same but I would think at least one could help you somehow .

Having it in the breast is rare but I have met some online who do have the same as you .

You received good advice from Catherine . Seeing a counsellor could be very beneficial as you could be given strategies with which to cope .It can't be easy for you trying to suppress negative emotions .

I can only think she has some kind of mental problem where she fantasises or that she deliberately set out to deceive . Perhaps both .

Wow ,another ACCER ,as I call us . I have sinus problems on one side because mine was near the sinuses . I am nearing 4 years since diagnosis .
I didn't make the Relay because I had cataract surgery in the affected eye .

Dear Victoria , I am so sorry . I just saw your post and feel for you . My ACC was in my tear duct and had spread into my nasal cavity . It was thought that my eye would need to be taken out but it was debatable . It's different if it's in the lacrimal gland . There is another lady whom I know online who went through the same as you less than a year ago . I will send you a private message .
