I am 46 years old and know I’m dying of brain cancer but I will fight it all the way to the end. For me I find it harder thinking of what my family will have to go through with the loss of me rather than my journey of the unknown.

So this is what I have done for them.

I have written out birthday cards for my children up to the age of 21 (they are 11 and 14).

I have written out Wedding card for my children.

I have written out birthday cards for wife for the next 10 years.

I have written out anniversary cards and bought traditional anniversary presents for the next 10 years for my wife.

I have bought a teddy bear for my wife and children (build a bear) and it has a voice message from me when you press it’s hand.

I have bought the three of them different angel wings and will give them to them just before I pass.

I have written out good bye cards to members of my family.

Some of these things were hard to do especially writing out the cards but I know they will be appreciated and loved for years to come so  I pushed myself to do them.

I hope some of these ideas inspire you to leave something for your loved ones.
