Hi, I'm about to start radiotherapy. It seems weird as this cancer issue comes in and out for me. Huge stress upon diagnosis, then operation/recovery then back to work. Back at work, the whole episode seems like a dream. Now back in hospital system has brought anxiety back again. I feel like I shouldn't be nervous as I've had such a good prognosis compared to other ladies who require chemotherapy and have a much higher grade than me. I didn't know whether to tick "I have cancer" or "I'm a survivor" as I'm not sure when you become a survivor. After the operation to remove tumour or after the five year mark or after the radiotherapy???

I,d say you are definately a survivor, you have gone through lots of ups & downs so to get through all that is SURVIVING. I imagine being back in the treatment routine is bringing back lots of crap memories so that might be making you nervous. Good luck for the future Linda x
