Hi all, Decided that I needed a happy place to go to when things became overwhelming and that this could be my new image. Found an image of my favourite place on NSW south coast. My happy place. S

Hi Samex I think it is a lovely idea to have a happy place to go to when things become too much. The beach has always had a calming affect on me. I have just recently come back from Phuket - a lovely trip and a place I feel I could live for a few months at a time. Very relaxing and so many smiling happy people who are polite and helpful. My son and I have lots of lovely memories now which was the plan. At the moment it is my happy place as I keep remembering the fun we had and while on holiday I have noticed that the shadow of cancer is hardly ever around. It quickly creeps back into my life once I am back home (especially after the inevitable visits to the oncologist) So hang on to you new image - your new happy place - I think it is important that we all find a special place to reflect and de stress. Every little positive thing we do is a good thing. Kind regards, Willow xo

Hiya S I love the look of your happy place. I love the beach and find the water very soothing and in the past when times were troubled you could often find me on the beach just sitting and listening to the waves. Nice choice! Julie

I love your happy place. The beach, or a roaring fire, watching the flames. Gotta have somewhere to go. Cheers Vicki

Glad you all like it! It is a great spot. I wish I could go there physically, not just in my mind, more often. Phuket sounds great too. On the bucket list of places to go. Is it very touristy? S

The beauty of the coast never ceases to amaze me. Your happy place waits for you to walk barefoot along the waters edge, feeling the breeze on your face and the warmth of the sun lifting your spirit. Your photo serves as a reminder of a recent holiday, clambering over rocks and then walking along the waters edge, I laughed as the water touched my bare toes, it was colder than I was expecting but exhilarating! How I love the colours of the sea and the shore, such a simple pleasure to walk along the beach. Is it easy to put a picture on the site? Reindeer

Hi Reindeer, Your words are great, I was actually on the beach for a moment with sand oozing between by toes enjoying those beautiful colours and the rhythm of the waves. Cheers Vicki

Hello, Yes, we love the south coast too. Spent our last two holidays at Narooma. We also met up with "Strong" while we were down there. Where is your favourite spot? The colour of the ocean down the coast is just breathtaking isn't it?
