High LDH level, concern?

My father has stage 4 bladder cancer and is currently receiving anti–PD-1 antibody treatment. Since he started taking the first medicine his LDH level has been rising continuously and after taking the 3rd medicine it was 1250. I'm reading from articles that significantly correlated with worse survival. Is there anyone who can help with this situation? Is it really correlated?
