Hi Cindi, Well its Fantastic news for me, the results from the cystoscopy on Monday were cancer free, no visual cancer in the bladder at all, together with the 3 separate urine tests done 2 weeks ago, no cancer cells in the urine tests. Its crazy though I'm still getting bladder pain, the Urologist thinks it could be from the immunotherapy that I've had, but I'm so so happy, my next immunotherapy starts in 2 weeks for 3 treatments over 6 weeks, then 6 weeks after that another cystoscopy. Tomorrow its my nose surgery and next week it's the SCC's to be frozen off, then hopefully I'll be cancer free for the moment. How are you ? and how are you both feeling ?. Hi Cindi, I am going ok, trying to keep it all together and press on forward,  the skin cancer surgeon operates on me on the 6th feb, a 1 inch section of my nose needs to be removed because of the BCC  that is quite deep, these things have roots that extend down, anyway some plastic surgery and I should have some sort of a nose, which will take about 6 weeks to heal and about a year and it won't be noticeable, a number of scc's which I will need to have frozen off by another skin specialist  a week later. My bladder is really sore, I've rang my urologist and oncologist to talk about it, however I just have to wait till the cystoscopy on the 3rd of Feb,  I'm not confident now as both have said I shouldn't have pain by now, and no meds reduce the pain either !. Just wondering what's going to be next. I push on with my walking and gym work irrespective of the pain. It all takes so long to get answers,  you're right about the waiting , anyway I just have to be patient.  I really hope the biopsy they took from you is nothing sinister, but keep me informed.  Take care, I'll be thinking about you. Hi Jennifer,  Just thought I would check in with you to see how you're going ?, and hope your Xmas was good too. I'm so glad that your husband is there for you every step of the way, you must be so proud of him just to step in and do what needs to be done, thats real Love ❤. I'm the same as you, just waiting till the 3rd Feb to see if there is anything inside growing, I'm a little worried as my bladder has pain from time to time every day...it's probably because its still healing from the immunotherapy and I'm exercising. I have my appointment with the skin cancer surgeon tomorrow,  it's been brought forward from mid February thank goodness, just another thing on my plate I want fixed and done asap, I just looking forward to a time when my body doesn't need fixing, although it is getting older now, with high kms. I'm keeping fit , working out nearly each day and really pushing myself to the limit, walking, lifting light weights etc etc, all this makes a huge difference to my general well being and mental health so I can stay strong and positive. I was the same with the tiredness and I think you're right about the body needing time to heal. Hi Cindi, Great to hear from you, hope Xmas was good for you and family. I'm ok thanks, I'm just waiting to see the plastic  surgeon specialising in skin cancer on February 14 to arrange body scan and a surgery date. Feb 3rd, bladder look n see in hospital, 🤞hopefully nothing more has appeared, my bladder is still sore from the immunotherapy treatment that finished on December 16th, oncologist says depending on feb 3rd my treatment will resume late Feb.  Immunotherapy side effects have just about gone now, and I feel quite normal 🙂, walking 4-5km a day and lifting light weights in workouts too, I'm feeling good. Hi Jennifer  I hope you had a good Christmas and spent some quality time with family. I truly wish that you will be better with all that has been going on over the last 12 months in 2024. And 2025 will be a turnaround for you so you can be better and healthy  I will be be thinking positive thoughts for you all the time. Hi Cindi,  Thank you for your message, I also think about you and Jennifer often and hope you're both ok. I had my 5th treatment on Monday, its really affecting me now so much more than the other treatments, my oncologist says its normal though, my bladder is quite painful and I feel fatigue all of the time, I also have other side effects too with my skin and hydration also nerve pain, I'm taking pain relief also drinking plenty of fluids, one more treatment next Monday until March next year, early February my surgeon will go in and have a look n see, I'm hoping nothing is growing 🤞, if all ok BCG will be once every 3mths from then on. I'm feeling a bit like a zombie atm but I'm so lucky that my partner is so loving, comforting and supportive and understands what I'm going through.  I'll be thinking about you as always and will chat before Xmas.  Love and hugs Take care, Richard xx   ... Hi Cindi,  I had my 3rd BCG yesterday, all went well however today the pain has intensified but is manageable and I'm feeling tired a lot more now, I mentioned that to the Onc team and they said that is standard for some. In my family, my mother, father , brother and sister have all had cancer, mum ,dad and brother have now passed due to this horrible disease, my sister now at 76 has breast cancer. When growing up nearly everyone smoked, I remember going to a GP when I was 17 and he smoked in the surgery. Over the years I have lost some friends as well, some very young who never smoked,  this horrible disease doesn't discriminate. After finding out that I had cancer I decided to eat the healthier foods like organic but only to find out that after doing deep research over 90% of all fruits and vegetables use pesticides inc in organic vegetables and fruits.
