Recovering from throat cancer, but have developed, Neuropathy in the face & head, cant sleep or eat or function day to day, is there anyone else with the same side effects as me ?
Hi my husband had floor of the mouth cancer also in 10 nodes and yes there is a lot they don't tell you the dissection of his throat was a breeze although it didn't look very pretty.Then came the hard part they took all his teeth out before the radiation and boy that was the worst they said he would get his taste buds and saliva back in 3-4 mths.4 1/2 years later no saliva no taste buds and cant eat solids milk shakes get a bit boring afer this long.Its also damaged the top of is spine so his neck is shot.
So that is what they didn't tell us so we are living the new life now.All the best to you.
Hi sunny I am so sorry to hear that especially when he has been through rad are they doing a dix I just hope he doesn't have to have rad again.
I will pray for you both because its a rotten decease. You have to keep strong to it affects everyone in the family so look after your self and I hope the op goes well for you both.
