Mum seemed fine. She took a nap, and woke up totally confused. For four hours she appeared entirely disconnected to her familiar routines and surroundings. She slept, then woke, fine again. Whether it was her radiation or medication, it was a fearful time, not knowing what had happened and where she had gone. Grief-filled fear, thinking the worst. Then so much thankfulness for yet more time to connect, laugh and relax together.
