I am 46 years old and know I’m dying of brain cancer but I will fight it all the way to the end. For me I find it harder thinking of what my family will have to go through with the loss of me rather than my journey of the unknown.

So this is what I have done for them.

I have written out birthday cards for my children up to the age of 21 (they are 11 and 14).

I have written out Wedding card for my children.

I have written out birthday cards for wife for the next 10 years.

I have written out anniversary cards and bought traditional anniversary presents for the next 10 years for my wife.

I have bought a teddy bear for my wife and children (build a bear) and it has a voice message from me when you press it’s hand.

I have bought the three of them different angel wings and will give them to them just before I pass.

I have written out good bye cards to members of my family.

Some of these things were hard to do especially writing out the cards but I know they will be appreciated and loved for years to come so  I pushed myself to do them.

I hope some of these ideas inspire you to leave something for your loved ones.

lovely list. It has inspired me to do some of the same. Although I'm still in the land of the living and pretty much cancer free now, you never know when your number's up. I was wondering if you've tried Gumby Gumby as a natural alternative. It gave my friend an extra few years by shrinking 8 brain tumors.
