Hi everyone, my name is Louisa and I'm the Project Coordinator of the Carers Project at Cancer Council. My weekly blog is to update you all on news and events for carers and other opportunities that we hear about. Don't forget you can call the Helpline any time on 13 11 20 with any questions at all. Working carers might be interested in this article from Working Carers Gateway on flexibility in the workplace. The Fair Work Bill is expected to commence in 2010. Carers Australia believes that the proposed legislation contains no measures that will help carers stay in paid employment. You can read their submission to the Government here. Carers may also be interested in the upcoming live chat forum on sexuality and body image that will be run on this website in April. Sexuality, intimacy and body image is the In Focus topic for young adults for this month. Stay tuned for more details.
