My son had surgery and 13 months of intensive chemo for Ewing’s Sarcoma, which was completed in October 2018. Prior to chemo he had a thick mob of hair. Everyone said his hair would return thicker and better than before. We were all sprouting this information (the nurses too), without really knowing the truth. His hair has returned extremely thin and fine. He probably would be best shaving it off but I think it’s still too raw for him to be bald again. I’m looking for recommendations for products that have been found to be good for hair regrowth post chemo, if any. Thank you.
Sorry to hear of your son's cancer.
Tell your son it is only hair. Tell him bald heads after cancer is about as good as a Purple Heart. Wear it with pride. If it doesn't grow back he doesn't need it.
But if he really wants the hair back.. try Minoxidil
But he should shave it bald and own it. A big FU to cancer and all the BS it brought to him.
Thanks Tony. We’ll look into it. 🧡
