Hello,
I am 42 and I have a stage 4 gastric cancer that spread the peritoneum and bones. I am on my 13th cycle of chemo (5-fu) and immunotherapy.
Keen to connect to people on a similar journey, determined as I am not let this evil win the fight.
Cheers
Hi Moh42, I just joined the forum yesterday and felt I should reply to your post, a) because no one else had since March and b) because I too was diagnosed with stage 3/4 gastric cancer in March, then stage 4 after a total gastrectomy failed to get all the cancer cells in the margins and further surgery is not possible. Given the similarities in our time and diagnosies, I want to ask how are you now almost 6 months later? Are you well? Have you found a level of peace or at least acceptance and an ability to move forward with living your best life? I'm 53yo male on 7th chemo cycle since the surgery. Dry mouth and ulcers are new, but otherwise I seem well. I'm happy to talk on the forum or privately if you would like to talk more. Best wishes for the future.
