Bad side effect to steroids administered with chemo

I ended up with hypomania because of the steroids I was given with chemo treatment for breast cancer.

Spent too much on the internet and have caused myself great worry about finances now - overrides any concerns I have about cancer returning.  I feel very depressed most of the time.

Has anyone else out there had this reaction to steroids?

Am I the only person who has suffered hypomania. I feel very alone right now.

I have no experience with this but there are a number of links/phone numbers for advice and support on this site. I've found the Cancer Council extremely helpful.
