Dear sisters, has anyone had Contralateral Breast Cancer?

Im about to finish my second lot of five year adjuvant therapy. The Onc. Says don’t continue.

The second tumour in my other Breast, I self discovered as the facility monitoring me with mammogram

missed it. Have a family history of Breast Cancer.. so not happy to say the least!

Now, my new Onc is repeating the event.. Finish therapy and do nothing!

I was told the tumour was still developing while I was on therapy for the first tumour.

Is there any one else in this predicament? What surveillance are you having?
