Stage 4 metastatic cancer

Hi 

My mum had breast cancer which has matasasized to her bones spleen liver lungs and ribs. She was told that.she has only a year to live.has anyone been inna similar position please just need someone to talk to . I wonder how long has.she got left as she's determining quickly

I'm so sorry to hear about your mother, this would be such a hard time for you both. In terms of support and asking question, you're more than welcome to call our 13 11 20 line to speak to an oncology nurse or oncology social worker to get some more information and any relevant referrals.

We also have a Carer telephone support group where you can connect to other carers and family members of those living with cancer and possibly get some answers and support there. We also have 1-on-1 counselling if you need some extra emotional support for you or your mother.

I hope you get some answers here on the forum, but we're also here if you need us.
