went for quick spin in my car for the first time in months. took a few to get used to the flow of the car and everything was tight but aside from that, I had the biggest smile on my face as it felt sweet.look forward to a few more spins in the near future.

Hi Ridnlo I remember driving for the first time in five months - it was a pretty weird experience. I was so nervous! What sort of car do you have?

1969 vf valiant with 440 cu inch motor, no power steering and minimal brake assist. I drive the val better than I do my wifes camry. 🙂

Good onya, driving is such a privlige. Takes so much away from you when you aren't allowed to drive. It was one of the saddest days that my husband sold his much loved Katana, still with the hope of one day be allowed to drive again. Enjoy, love the Valiant!

Oh gosh!! Enjoy every minute!! My husband sold his VG PACER after he was diagnosed. 1.5 years later, he got his license back for 3 months.... best 3 months of his life! Is now not allowed to drive again, so enjoy every second- drive as much as you can 🙂

thankyou, and what a shame your husband had to sell his pacer. what colour.sedan, coupe. i don't know if you know the Plymouth superbird car at all but i recently got to drive in one a few weeks ago. it is petty blue. 440 cu in 727 auto. plenty of mumbo to spare. i couldn't take the smile off my face for the whole day. my mate is going to possibly let me drive it to albury next year. heres hoping.

Katana was his motorbike, so sad to see it go, but couldn't just look at it and not ride. He almost got his license back he had a GBM brain tumour, but found out he had progression a few days before sitting the driving test.
