If you're experiencing symptoms...
If you're experiencing symptoms associated with COVID-19, such as:
- fever
- cough
- shortness of breath
- sore throat
Or are aware of having had contact with someone who has tested positive, please do contact your treatment team.
Where possible, give them a call rather than attending in person - this will lower the risk to yourself, as well as reduce the risk of possibly exposing others.
You can find further information here from Cancer Council regarding this advice, here and here.

Re: If you're experiencing symptoms...
There is also a new initiative which Greg Hunt has released where TeleHealth is being implemented throughout Australia to prevent the need of leaving home to get a doctor's check-up or other essential medical needs.
Services will include GP services and some consultation services provided by other medical specialists, nurse practitioners, mental health treatment, chronic disease management, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health assessments, services to people with eating disorders, pregnancy support counselling, services to patients in aged care facilities, children with autism, and after-hours consultations.
Patients should talk to their regular doctors about their most appropriate course of care, whether it should be via telehealth or face-to-face.
