In home care.

In home care.

Is it possible to have someone come in and shower a family member.  My cousin lives alone with her  young children aged 6 and 7 and is going through chemo.  She is so unwell she is unable to shower herself safely without risk of harm to herself from falling.  We are helping with the children but I'm just wondering if she can access community health nurses or workers to help her.  We are currently trying to get her moved from the house she is in due to there being stairs and she can no longer climb them to get to her bedroom or bathroom.

I'd really appreciate some advice.

Hello Amanda75. Thank you for joining and posting here.    I can hear your concern for your cousin and the need for her to access some support.   As a first step I suggest you or you cousin call our call our 131120 team for a confidential discussion about her situation and where she may be able to access the support she needs.  Kind regards ...
