Legal referral service

Being diagnosed with cancer can present legal issues that can be hard to manage. Through Cancer Council's Pro Bono Program, we can connect you with free advice and assistance with legal matters.

 

Qualified lawyers from the legal referral service may be able to assist with the following:

  • Early access to Superannuation
  • Insurance claims and disputes
  • Credit and debt issues
  • Disputes with Centrelink
  • Employment and discrimination
  • Drafting wills
  • Tenancy law
  • Powers of attorney
  • Mortgage hardship

Note, the above may vary between states and territories.
