Small business referral service

For those that are self-employed, the financial impact of cancer may be difficult, as they may not have access to benefits such as paid sick leave.


Through Cancer Council's Pro Bono Program, we can connect you with free advice and assistance to help you navigate business related matters.


Qualified small business accountants from the small business referral service, may be able to assist with the following:

  • Tax issues
  • Sale of a business and assets
  • Appointing a caretaker
  • Managing disruption
  • Bookkeeping
  • BAS (Business Activity Statement) lodgement
  • Management of business debts
  • Long-term succession planning
  • Strategies to improve performance

Note, the above may vary between states and territories.
