Celebrating 5 Year Mark Pancreatic Cancer Remission

This has been a very special week for me ,family and friends,I have reached the 5 year mark after surgery and chemo for pancreatic cancer.i am officially now in remission After surgery and chemo I was told I was terminal with about 18 months to live,to celebrate we are in the middle of a driving trip in central Australia and the top end with my wife I was diagnosed in Alice Springs 5 years ago and flew home to see if I was eligible for Whipple Surgery,we are completing that trip,it is both tiring but invigorating to be doing this journey. Where there is life there is hope. kj

Thanks Emily I love that happy dance saying,I had my first swim in over 5 years this week I was like a child on Xmas morning,the stars are unreal and so are the people. Best wishes kj
