Post lung cancer

Hi everyone, I would really appreciate any feed back. After radiation therapy and chemo, my skin is really tender and chest bones sore. It’s been 18 months, i get little sleep because my skin is so tender. Has any one been through this? Any suggestions. Thank you. Susie

Hi @Susanne,

That doesn't sound very nice at all!

Has anyone else experienced these sorts of side effects post-radiation and chemo?

Re: Post lung cancer

Hi.

I have stage 3 lung cancer.  I had chemotherapy and radiation every day for 3 months. I'm now receiving immunotherapy treatment every 2weeks.  My skin was very irritated.  Red and sore..It will improve!  Keep moisturising morning and night , it helps!

 Regards.

Re: Post lung cancer

Hi Susie,

I'm sorry to hear that you're dealing with such discomfort after your treatment. Tender skin and soreness can definitely be challenging. You might want to try gentle, moisturizing lotions or creams designed for sensitive skin to help soothe the tenderness. Sometimes, avoiding harsh fabrics and opting for soft, breathable clothing can also make a difference. But remember that for these purposes, you should choose only reliable pharmacies with high-quality medicines. My personal recommendation is the pharmacy, which I have been using for a very long time, I am very satisfied with their quality and price - topsup24.com

If you're having trouble sleeping because of the discomfort, it might help to talk to your healthcare team about your symptoms. They could suggest specific treatments or therapies that might offer relief. Remember, healing is a process, and it's important to be patient with yourself. You’ve been through a lot, and it's okay to seek support and ask for help when you need it.
