vocal cord cancer

5 months have passed  I still suffer side effects from the radio therpy I had 25 treatments of rad no cemo coughing at night spitting out musac will this continue for life or come to an end some time in the future       I asked my doc .his answer wasdont know how long is apiece of string MY CANCER IS VOCAL CORD     THANK YOU GERRY

Sorry to hear you are still experiencing side effects. Can I suggest you take a look at this thread? It's a thread discussing all kinds of side effects from cancers of the head and neck region and I think you'll find it very helpful as well as the posters in there incredibly supportive Heart
