We've all got our battles haven't we, so glad we've all met up on this site as it's good to talk.
I can understand that your symptoms are a worry, I don't blame you, it's all so unknown and scary , and OF COURSE you can complain, it's all horrible and you are going through a lot too, don't worry about me, I just feel better complaining on here!! 😂
I'll get through OK and I just hope you can too.
But if your symptoms get worse if I was you I'd give the nurses a call, discuss it with them, they'll know what to do and help you.
At least the Centrelink has come through for you, it seems they try to make it as difficult as possible to deter people or something, not fair for people who are really sick.
So glad it's eased your stress a little.
Summers nearly here, the waters warming up, I'm hoping and praying you will be well enough to at least get in there again in the near future.
Good luck with your bloods, I have mine tomorrow then more chemo Thursday, thank you for your kind words,
Wishing you the best too,
Cindi xx
Hi @greg57 ,
How are you going now? has the pain got better? what's happened?
Ive been not so good and had to go to hospital again but ok now just tired.
I will be continuing with chemo next week if blood tests allow.( fingers crossed)
Anyway such a beautiful day here in Sydney, hope you have been able to get out and about a bit, even just a walk, I like days like this.
Talk soon when my energy's better, sending hugs,
Cindi xx
Hey Cindi, im feeling ok thanks, like you just tired all the time. Yes it was a beautiful day in Sydney, im in Panania, where are you? Ive actually got my fishing stuff sorted and going down to Dolls Point tomorrow on Botany bay to just lay in the sun and have a dip. Its been way too long. Do you have any plans? Hope you can get out and enjoy the nice weather. Hugs and a kiss, Greg
Hi @greg57 ,
Glad to hear you're going to get out! sounds good.
I'm feeling quite a lot better today, but wont be lying in the sun as the chemo makes you burn badly.
I'm living quite a long way from you at the moment, we are at Killara on the north side of the bridge.
I hope you have a great day & catch something!
What sort of fish do you get there?
Hugs and happy thoughts,
Cindi xx
Hey Cindi, only stayed there a couple of hours, home by 1pm. Had a swim which was nice. Little bit worn out today, weather is really starting to warm up hey. Im glad youre feeling ok, you will be back at the gym in no time. Ive been living on salad rolls and electrolytes the last few days, trying to be healthy, good diet is important in repairing a liver so im really giving it a shot. Tried throwing a few baits out yesterday but no luck, theres too many idiots on jet skis flying about, I swear some of them go faster than some cars. I did a job at Killara years ago, it was a long drive to and from work, probably quicker getting a train. Have you been there a long time? Thanks for our chats, i really enjoy and look forward to them. Take care and chat soon. Greg xx
Hi @greg57 ,
That's a shame about the jet skies, you need to find somewhere quieter I guess.
There does seem to be a lot of them about and very noisy. I can imagine the fish scamper off.
We are only here at Killara in a little unit while awaiting stuff being done to our house, so it's only temporary, our house is very old and once they started pulling up floor boards they kept finding rotten timbers and it was only built on sandstone pillars and has a lot of damp, the rooms were getting so much mildew I'm sure it wasn't good for our health so getting it fixed up, but the work seems to be ongoing as more and more dodgy stuff being discovered and now council has raised our fire rating so lots of timber has to be changed to steel.... I could go on and on but what can you do ? I want a healthy house, might have contributed to my cancers? who knows. Sure it's not good for you.
Anyway that's adding to the stress of my treatment, but it'll all be right in the end.
Feeling good today, it's going to be a hot one here in Sydney, so going to get out to enjoy the weather, but will have to keep covered up as chemo makes you burn in sun.
That's nice you had a swim, I'd like that but water maybe still very cold? what was it like were you were?
yeah good idea on the liver friendly diet, I must look up what's good and do that too although I actually do eat pretty healthy already ( except when chemo kicks in everything tastes off for a while)
I'm off now to make the most of my renewed energy before Thursday rushes up & another chemo to take all
that energy away again.
All the best and sending hugs,
Cindi xx
Thats a shame about your house Cindi, i imagine that would be really expensive, not what you need at the moment. So you go for chemo again on Thursday? I hope it doesnt knock you around too much. Im lucky as i dont have anymore treatment until the new year, just blood tests. I sometimes forget i have cancer when i dont have to be getting work up procedures done, and stressing about the radiation treatment. Its good to have a break, but its still in the back of my mind that the treatment might not work. Hopefully it does. The water still has a **bleep** to it, but once youre in its beautiful. You just have to commit lol. Anyway, another hot day in Sydney today, and hotter tomorrow im hearing. Its not even summer yet. Good luck with everything, especially Thursday. Will be thinking of you. Take care, Greg xox
