Nervously waiting for liver biopsy results

Hi Cindi, just thought id check in youve been a bit quiet. Hope i didnt scare you off with all the questions. Thought id let you know i got my date changed with my doctor. Its now this Friday, so at least i will know if the treatment has been a good or not so good result before i go away. Im really looking forward to getting away for a while, but im starting to get really anxious about what hes going to say. I hope you are feelig good and doing ok. Our problems might be physical, but it also takes a toll mentally and emotionally hey. If you want to say a little prayer for me..... Take care, G xox

Sorry, time gets away from me.

I have good news about my biopsy's , they aren't cancerous, so I'm very lucky. However they are going to keep a close eye on it, I see the surgeon in a couple of weeks to discuss it.

But for now, I'm just trying to get my strength back, I still get so tired when I exert myself, didn't realise how much it's all taken out of me.I'm back at the gym , just taking things slowly.

Our reno's nearly finished, well as much as they are going to do, then my husband will finish other things,....it'll just take him a while I guess.

I'm glad you're seeing your specialist soon, that's good,less time to worry about it, also getting away is great, and the surfing will do you good!

Don’t be so hard on yourself, what you can’t control or fix is not worth your energy in worry and anxiety .Enjoy your holiday no matter what the results life is good and you will move forward

Good news your biopsy results came back well. Maybe you will go through some BCG treatments as a precautionary treatment.

good news you are back in your home with major renovations completed, hopefully the further renovations will come along slowly but it will be good to be home. 
give yourself time for your body healing and I’m sure your gentle exercise helps your mind as well.

No problem at all, that’s why the forum can be helpful , no pressure. I’m doing really well I see my Professor tomorrow and get all my final results , hopefully  get clearance to drive  and have a normal diet again  and will be able to do light things again  and hopefully hear the words ‘cancer is all gone’ 

we are going away to Lakes Entrance for five days, which will be my first big experience out since my surgery

Hello Cindi, back from my holiday now, thought id let you know my tumour is now 7cm, so the radiation seems to have worked. Still a way to go i suppose as i need another round of treatment. Been feeling very lethargic lately, cant find the energy to do much at all. Hope youre going ok. Take care, Greg

How was your holiday? hope it was fun.

Glad the tumor's shrunk, just see what your specialist thinks I guess, when do you see him next?

I was going better, trying to find enough energy for my gym, I was getting used to it again but now I've stupidly twisted my ankle and cant do much for a while.

Frustrating as I don't like not doing stuff.

Oh well, hope the swelling in my ankle goes down soon, and hope things continue to improve for you.
