Supporting my dad through stage 4 myeloma & leukemia...sharing my story and the book I wrote to help

My dad was recently diagnosed with stage 4 myeloma and leukemia, and our family has been doing everything we can to stay strong during his treatment. He came to Australia as a visitor, and he was diagnosed here. Because he doesn’t have Medicare, the treatment costs are extremely high, and we’re doing our best to manage both the emotional and financial pressure.

A while ago, I wrote a book called Happiness. I wrote it to help people who feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or lost, because I’ve been there myself. Writing it helped me stay grounded, and reading it again now reminds me to return to myself, even in the hardest moments. I’m sharing it here because some people in this community might find comfort or strength in the same message.

Every purchase of the book helps me support my dad’s treatment costs, and I hope it can offer something meaningful to anyone navigating their own difficult chapter.

Thank you for allowing me to share our story.

Hi @Ravi

Thank you very much for sharing your experience and your beautiful book with our community.

I am very sorry to hear what you and your family are experiencing with your Dad's cancer.

Perhaps others in the community would like to share what they have found has given them comfort or strength when caring for their loved one.

Warmly,
