Breast Cancer Awareness Month takes place each year during the month of October and aims to shine a light on the devastating impact breast cancer has on thousands of Australians every day. The aim of the initiative is to shine a light on the devastating impact breast cancer has on so many people. In Australia, breast cancer is the second most commonly diagnosed cancer, and it is estimated that one in 1 in 8 females and 1 in 667 males will be diagnosed by the time they are 85.
