Sexual Health After Cancer: Research Study for Young Cancer Survivors

Are you a survivor of childhood, adolescent or young adult cancer? Researchers are looking to better understand the sexual health experiences of people diagnosed with cancer before the age of 25.

Sexual health is an important part of overall wellbeing and quality of life, yet it is often overlooked in cancer survivorship research. This study aims to explore sexuality-related challenges experienced by survivors, better understand factors that may impact sexual health, and compare experiences with those of the broader Australian and New Zealand population.

You may be eligible to take part if you:

  • Were diagnosed with cancer before the age of 25
  • Are interested in sharing your experiences through an online survey

The study involves completing online surveys, with a follow-up survey 12 months later. Findings from the study will help improve understanding of the sexual health needs of childhood, adolescent and young adult cancer survivors.
